Privacy and buyer data

The commitment
WealthProp never contacts your buyer.
Not to market, not to survey, not to verify, not to improve anyone’s experience. An enquiry raised on your storefront is delivered to you and stops there. This is the first line of the policy because it is the only line most brokers need.
1. Two different people are described here
This policy covers two groups, and it treats them very differently. A broker is our customer: they hold a Desk, we bill them, and we hold the data needed to run their account. A buyer is the broker’s client: they land on a storefront and may send an enquiry. They are not our customer, they are not our audience, and we do not build a relationship with them.
2. Buyer data, stated plainly
When someone sends an enquiry from a storefront, we store what they typed — typically a name, a phone number, an email address, the development they asked about and any message — so that we can deliver it to the broker and so the broker can find it later in their Desk.
That is the entire purpose. Specifically, and without exception:
- We do not email, call, or message a buyer, for any reason, ever.
- We do not sell, rent, syndicate, or share buyer data with any third party.
- We do not pass an enquiry to the developer. If a broker chooses to forward it, that is the broker’s act, not ours.
- We do not pool buyer data across brokers, score it, resell it as a signal, or use it to market WealthProp to anyone.
- We do not charge per enquiry, so there is no arrangement under which a buyer is worth more to us than to the broker.
The broker is the controller of their enquiries. WealthProp is their processor and acts on their instructions. A broker can export their enquiries at any time and can ask us to delete them.
3. What we hold about a broker
- Identity
- Name, email address, phone number, and a password you never send us in readable form.
- Account
- Your firm, seats, the micro-markets and developments you carry, your storefront brand and content, and your connected domains.
- Billing
- Tier, invoices, GSTIN if you give us one, and a payment reference. Card details are held by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
- Technical
- Sign-in sessions, IP address and user agent at sign-in, and error logs. Storefront traffic is counted in aggregate; we do not build a profile of a visitor.
4. Why we hold it
To run the service you are paying for, to bill you, to keep the account secure, and to meet tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell broker data either, and we do not use your carry to advertise to your competitors.
5. Who else touches it
A small, named set of processors, each under contract and each used for one job: database hosting, file storage for the images you upload, transactional email for sign-in and Wire deliveries, and payments. We publish the current list on request and will name them here before launch. We do not use advertising or profiling trackers on any WealthProp surface, including storefronts.
6. How long we keep it
- Account data: while your Desk is open, and 90 days after you close it.
- Enquiries: for as long as your Desk holds them, or until you delete them — whichever is sooner. On account closure they are deleted with the account.
- Invoices: eight years, because tax law requires it.
- Sign-in and error logs: 90 days.
7. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a particular use. Write to privacy@wealthprop.in and we reply within 30 days. If a buyer contacts us directly about their data, we pass the request to the broker who holds it and tell the buyer we have done so — that is the only message we will ever send them, and it is a response, not an approach.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access inside WealthProp is scoped to the firm that owns it, enforced in the application layer rather than by convention, and every query carries the identity of the person making it. Passwords are hashed. If a breach affects you, we tell you what happened, what it touched, and what we did — without waiting for it to be tidy.
9. Cookies
On the Desk and Control Room, one cookie to keep you signed in and one to remember your preferences. On storefronts, none by default. There is no analytics cookie, no pixel and no third-party tag on a broker’s storefront unless that broker adds one themselves.
10. Changes
A revised policy appears here with a new review date, and we email every account before a material change takes effect. Section 2 is not a section we intend to weaken; if it ever changed, that change would be announced on its own, in plain words, and not folded into a routine update.
11. Contact
privacy@wealthprop.in. The named data protection contact will be listed here before launch.
